A closer look at the journey.

Everest from Tibet approaches the mountain through the Tibetan plateau and Rongbuk valley. This programme begins with time in Lhasa before travelling towards the mountain, then progresses from base camp to the advanced camps. The north-side objective is a major high-altitude undertaking with prolonged exposure and demanding climbing well beyond the trekking approach.

This programme combines time on the Tibetan plateau with an extended climbing period. Access, permits and the final road route must be agreed before travel. Higher camps, acclimatization rotations and the summit attempt depend on mountain conditions. We plan the support and equipment around the team rather than a fixed summit date.
