A closer look at the journey.

Everest from Nepal begins among the villages and monasteries of the Khumbu before reaching the expedition camps above the Khumbu Glacier. The approach passes Namche, Tengboche and Pheriche. Beyond base camp, sustained glacier travel and high-altitude climbing make this a major undertaking for climbers with substantial expedition experience.

The approach and climbing phases form one extended mountain journey. Time above base camp is used for acclimatization, carrying equipment, rest and a summit attempt when conditions allow. Discuss your climbing history with us so that the route, team support and equipment plan suit the objective and your experience.
