A closer look at the journey.

Pumori rises above the upper Khumbu near the Nepal-Tibet border, facing the Everest massif. The approach gives time in Namche, Khumjung and Lobuche before moving to a dedicated mountain base. It is an objective for climbers seeking a substantial technical expedition, with steep snow, ice and exposed terrain rather than a trekking summit.

The approach and climbing phases form one extended mountain journey. Time above base camp is used for acclimatization, carrying equipment, rest and a summit attempt when conditions allow. Discuss your climbing history with us so that the route, team support and equipment plan suit the objective and your experience.

  • Upper Khumbu approach and acclimatization stops
  • A dedicated Pumori climbing window
  • Mountain setting opposite the Everest massif
