Bokta Peak
A long eastern Nepal trek through Ghunsa and the Kanchenjunga north approach leads to a remote Bokta Peak climbing programme.
Khumbu, Nepal / Peak climbing
Combine the Everest Base Camp approach with a technical Island Peak climb from the Imja valley.

This journey combines the upper Khumbu trek to Everest Base Camp with a climbing objective on Island Peak, also called Imja Tse. After visiting the base camp area, the route turns through Dingboche and Chhukung towards the mountain. The ascent involves glacier travel, steep snow and rope work, so it calls for preparation beyond trekking fitness.
The programme combines an approach trek with time for climbing preparation and a summit attempt. Snow, glacier conditions and weather can change the route and daily plan. Tell us about your mountain experience before booking so that we can agree the equipment, guiding and preparation needed for this particular climb.
This is an outline programme. The team will confirm the route and arrangements with you, allowing for weather, access and local conditions.

Yes. The main programme follows the direct upper Khumbu approach to Everest Base Camp before returning through Dingboche to Chhukung for Island Peak.
An alternative can link the approach with Kongma La. That is a different high-pass programme, so its duration, acclimatization and technical requirements should be agreed separately.
