A closer look at the journey.

The Bhote Koshi programme is a short river journey northeast of Kathmandu, combining road access, introductory preparation and two days around the water. Its close river setting and active paddling make the choice of section particularly important. The river team selects the operating route according to water level, access and the group's experience.

The first day introduces the equipment and paddling commands before the agreed rafting section. A second river day follows when conditions are suitable, then the programme returns by road. Discuss swimming confidence, previous rafting and any group requirements directly with the team. The two-day outline includes travel as well as river time; it is not a promise of two uninterrupted full days paddling.
