A closer look at the journey.

This programme combines Kathmandu Valley heritage with walking in the hills beyond the city. The first visits introduce Kathmandu, Patan, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. The journey then turns toward Shivapuri, where the walking route begins through forest and settlements on the valley rim.

The walk continues through the Chauki Bhanjyang area toward Nagarkot before returning via Bhaktapur. Although described as a light trek, the hill stages involve sustained walking and changes in elevation. The guide can confirm overnight stops and daily distances when the route is arranged. It suits travellers who want cultural time and a walking experience within one Kathmandu-based journey.
